Top 10 Sexy Asian Woman Actress In India

1 – Bipasha Basu -Britain’s largest selling Asian newspaper hailed actress Bipasha Basu as the Sexiest Asian Women in the World. The newspapers defined the Bollywood diva as “a living embodiment of sexual attractiveness… whose acting ability, beauty and charm are capable of arousing great interest from the world’s media”. Last year, it was Priyanka Chopra who was No. 1 on the list of the Sexiest Asian Women in the World.
2 – Madhuri Dixit -In the runner up position surprisingly is no glam actress of today. Instead actress Madhuri Dixit, whose film Aaja Nachley is all set to hit the screens soon, enjoys the second position in the poll. Looks like her mesmerizing smile and great persona still makes her so ‘wanted’. Quite an achievement at her age, we say.

3 – Priyanka Chopra -At No. 3 is Priyanka Chopra. All of only 25 years of age, Chopra was hailed as the third Sexiest Asian Woman in the World. The actress has made her mark in Bollywood and is only getting better in talent and looks as days go by. And about being touted as a sex symbol, we’re sure Priyanka has no aitraaz, as long as her andaaz is still recognized.

4 – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan -The lovely Aishwarya Rai comes fourth on the list. One wonders if her change in marital status has anything to do with her drop in popularity. But let us tell you, Ash is still ‘drop dead gorgeous’ and a tough competitor is these sexy polls.
5 – Laila Rouass -Laila Rouass is best known for her role in the Brit Drama Footballer’s Wives, where she plays Amber Gates. This dusky Beauty is high on the oomph factor and comfortably makes it to the No. 5 position on the Sexiest Asian Women’s list. An English actress, Laila is of Moroccan-Indian descent.

6 – Shilpa Shetty -After her Big Brother win, Shilpa Shetty is reigning in the UK. Having upped her popularity in the country, the actress also has a fab body that doesn’t go unnoticed. Complimented with an attractive face, this tall-legged lass makes it to the No. 6 position on the Sexiest Asian Women’s list.

7 – Katrina Kaif -Actress Katrina Kaif is gorgeous. Having launched a thousand products, this pretty face is making it big in the acting world as well. Having made a successful on-screen pair with Akshay Kumar and a fabulous off-screen pair with Salman Khan, Katrina is many-a-male’s fantasy.

8 – Kareena Kapoor -Actress Kareena Kapoor, after having shed those few extra kilos, made it to No. 8 position on the list. The stunning looker with much attitude and style couldn’t be missed. And after her latest release, Jab We Met, striking the right chord with the audiences, she was bound to make it in the top ten.

9 – Lara Dutta -Miss Oomph, Lara Dutta was Sexy Asian Woman No. 9. The actress has upped her sexy quotient ever since Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, and soon after was lucky to have yet another success story under her belt in the form of the Salman-Govinda starrer Partner. The girl, we’re sure, is going to climb the ladder of success and sexiness slowly but surely.
10 – Iman Ali -A popular Paki$tani model and actress, the beautiful Iman Ali is described as Bold and Beautiful and is extremely popular within fashion circles. Having starred in television productions, the actress wishes to make it in Bollywood provided the role offered is substantial. The lady has the style to carry of every look with utmost elan.

Top Ten Bipolar Blogs 2008
Blogs tend to have a short life cycle, with most lasting under two years before fading into archival heaven. Last year Psych Central compiled a list of the top ten bipolar blogs, written by people who have a bipolar spectrum disorder. We’re glad that some of our faves are still active, sad to see a few gone, and happy to discover great new writers too. We’re pleased to present you Psych Central’s Top Ten Bipolar Blogs of 2008.
There simply could not be a top bipolar blogs list without Philip Dawdy. He’s an excellent journalist whose blog has become synonymous with unrestrained investigative writing on bipolar disorder, mental health treatments and the pharma industry. He does not hesitate to call out BS when he finds it, and he digs for it harder than any other popular writer. Furious Seasons is an invaluable service to the mental health community.
2. MentallyInteresting.org – Pole to Polar: The Secret Life of a Manic-Depressive
Seaneen, a woman in the UK with characteristic wit and a gift for metaphors, keeps a blog that is much like the disorder: it ranges from hilarious to melancholy to very serious. Even the serious bits are wry, though, e.g. “The crappiest thing about [her recent suicide attempt] is that I lost the eBay auction for the camera that broke on me.” It’s personal without TMI, and conveys pathos without being pitiful. She’s someone you can’t help but feel affection for (unless perhaps you’re her accountant). While compiling this list I was sidetracked into reading her archives for hours, and a blog that compelling to my distractable eyes is unquestionably tops. Please stay alive and keep writing, Seaneen, we all need you.
Sandy Naiman is a skilful storyteller and hers is a highly readable pro blog. She uses an intimate style to share anecdotes and opinions as well as current issues. It’s like chatting with your friendly next-door neighbor — who happens to be an award-winning career journalist and prominent mental health advocate. Her posts are engrossing, sometimes tragic, and quite inspiring.
If you believe that eschewing negativity and training yourself to be reflexively positive is important to recovery, this blog is for you. If you are interested in the constructs of wellness and positive psychology, this blog is for you. If you like to learn practical day-to-day tips for improving your life, this blog is for you. If you enjoy well-crafted, thoughtful and focused writing with regular updates, this blog is for everyone.
Liz Lemon* Spikol was number one on the list last year and the only reason I’ve bumped her down is that her blog now tends to deviate from mental health into politics and cute photos (although I like puppies as much as anyone). Affable, honest and entertaining even on slow days.
6. Bipolar Beat
I didn’t add this newcomer blog to the list just because Psych Central hosts it. It’s here because it’s a super informative blog written by a doctor with clinical experience and a non-medical expert writing partner. Candida Fink and Joe Kraynak have an “ask a question” feature to prompt some of their posts, but also have no problem generating posts on hot topics like overdiagnosis, supplements, and childhood bipolar. They also maintain the similar Bipolar Blog.
Bipolar and obese, that’s how Bradley is. But he’s a good egg and this blog is his public quest to lose weight and keep mental stability. Often, medications used to treat bipolar will cause weight gain — lithium, valproate, Zyprexa/olanzapine, Seroquel/quetiapine, the list goes on — so his writing is relevant to many readers who have similar issues. This is an easy to digest personal blog with light humor about a heavy topic.
8. Two video blogs (vlogs) tie for eighth place: John McManamy’s Depression and Bipolar YouTuber, and Bipolar Survivor Back
John has written about the science and history of bipolar disorder and its treatments for years via his site, e-newsletter, blog, and book. While they contain a huge amount of technical (and common sense) information beautifully interpreted for laypeople, his vlog is even more accessible. Explanations of and practical coping skills for specific situations like anger management and body clock problems. Nicely produced and edited, I’d love to see more frequent updates.
Meanwhile, Kimberly’s Bipolar Survivor Back is an articulate video series about the mental health issues she’s suffered since childhood, and getting treatment as an adult. She recently stopped posting videos due to haters. Her experience with trolls is an example of the risks of exposing a personal life complicated by mental illness, and I commend her for trying to combat stigma and educate people.
“Your neighborhood misanthropic, buxom, bondage-positive, bipolar, bisexual, flying, loquacious hedonist.” Updated: “Now with VNS capabilities.” Last year I was keen to see if an experimental vagus nerve stimulator implant would help her very severe, treatment-resistant depression. It didn’t really. She still writes extremely well, though.
10. Yoga for Bipolar
I love yoga! I also love substance-free treatment alternatives that genuinely help people! Here they are together in one blog, like a chocolate peanut butter cup. I am grateful that David Morgan “made the decision not to withhold information for profit” since this is a quibble I have with some alternative treatments. Random people who claim their secret blend of herbs, spices and organic bamboo socks will cure bipolar, schizophrenia and cancer all at once if you’ll pay $300 for a DVD — what a deal! (Not!) Yoga is a mainstream, time-honored practice, and it’s nice to see this blog aimed at benefiting bipolar sufferers rather than a bank account. With more frequent updates, fewer product reviews, and more specific instructions for practice, this blog would rank much higher on the list.
Honorable mentions: Bipolar Chica (for being a cool blog), Brad (because he’s still hyper-awesome, but doesn’t write about bipolar much anymore), If you’re going through hell keep going (for her sincerity and introspection), and The Bipolar Bisexual (for being topical, funny, and hot — NSFW).
Thank you to everyone in the blogosphere writing such great blogs it was hard for us to narrow our choices to just ten. Like any list of this kind we’ve probably left out a few of your faves, so please share links in the comments.
Top Ten Android Launch Apps
The first Android phone. the G1, goes on sale today at T-Mobile stores. And, although I have some issues with the software/hardware interface, those are more than overcome by all the great software on the phone. I’ve been testing out a phone for about a week, and I don’t think I’ve made more than five actual calls on the phone. For me, it’s all about the apps.
The apps I use the most come with the device: Gmail, the Web browser, and Google Maps, in that order. The phone also comes with the Amazon MP3 store, which lets you buy songs and download them over the air directly onto the phone. But you can also download apps from the Android Market
, which is similar to the iPhone’s App Market. Many of the original apps on the review phones have been scrubbed
, and about 50 are supposed to be loaded onto the market for today’s launch.
Right now, I count 40 apps on the market (all of them are free, but paid apps are coming with a 70 percent cut going to developers
), and I know of several that are supposed to launch today that have not yet appeared on the phone. But if you are going to get a phone today, here is my list of the top ten apps worth downloading and checking out.
1. imeem Mobile: It’s a jukebox in your pocket, and the progressive download means that your song doesn’t skip when you go into an elevator, ’nuff said.
2. ShopSavvy: From Big in Japan, this turns your phone into a barcode scanner and then gives you price comparisons both online and in nearby retail stores. In my tests, the product database is good for household items, but can stumble with obscure products. But this is a killer app once the product database becomes more comprehensive. (Also try CompareEverywhere, which does the same thing).
3. Pac-Man: The original arcade game from Namco. Free on the Android (it costs $7.99 on the iPhone). The rollerball is an excellent joystick.
4. BreadCrumbz: You can leave photo and voice marker breadcrumbz along any route that others can then follow later on. Ties into the phone’s GPS, maps, camera, and microphone.
5. Wikitude: A travel guide that pulls up information from Wikipedia about nearby locations and puts them on a map, along with photos from Panoramio. Really useful geo-mashup.
6. Shazam: Put the phone up to a radio or speaker playing a song and Shazam will tell you the name and the artist, just like the iPhone app.
7. SplashPlay: Teaches you how to play the guitar by playing music and showing a fret board that you can play on the screen in sync with the music. The app is marketing for a similar tutorial device you can buy for your guitar, but it really teaches you how to play.
8. iSkoot for Skype: Lets you use your Skype account to IM your contacts, make Skype calls over the Internet, and uses the phone for SkypeOut calls (this is one of the apps that was taken down, but should go up again. Update: It’s available now)
9. MyCloset: This one’s more for the ladies, but a very nicely done app. You take apicture of every article of clothes in your closet, categorize them (top, bottom, shoes, accessories, etc.), select months when they can be worn, and then you can mix and match to plan out your outfits. The only thing it needs is some way to note weather a piece of clothing is clean or not.
10. Cab4Me Light: A simple app that gives you phone numbers of cab companies based on where you are.
Top ten political makeovers
Politicians have always been sensitive to the impact of a makeover. Phil Gramm, one time presidential candidate, verbalised the fear that crosses every political mind:
Can an ugly man be elected president?
But while investing in a little light grooming and some shoes without holes in them is par for the course, some take things to extremes.
With the news that Sarah Palin has racked up a $150,000 clothing bill since September, Comment Central’s thoughts turn to ten other political makeovers that have caused a splash.
Abraham Lincoln
11-year-old Grace Bedell may go down as one of the earliest image consultants in US history. In 1860, she wrote a letter to the clean-shaven Abraham Lincoln encouraging him to grow a beard for his campaign:
All the ladies like whiskers and they would tease their husbands to vote for you and then you would be President.
He took her advice and, well, the rest is history.
Peter Mandelson
But times have moved on since the Lincoln whiskers. In the twentieth century, facial hair and politics became a particularly bad combination. Peter Mandelson sported a moustache back in the early 1990s but shaved it off. He claimed it was going grey. Others simply assumed New Labour was going places.
John Kerry
At the end of the day, Iraq and the economy paled in comparison with the most important question of the 2004 campaign. Had the craggy-faced Kerry had Botox? He denied it but few believed him (especially after his wife openly credited the procedure for her own look.) Read more…

Top 10 Weight Loss Tips For Women
If you’ve been looking for sound advice on weight loss programs and diet plans, we have some good news for you. We’ve compiled a top ten list of weight loss tips for women. These tips on losing weight are powerful and proven to get results. Best of all, you won’t find any gimmicks or fads here. Only the best, most accurate and scientifically proven health advice made the cut and has been included in this fitness advice guide.
1) Our first weight loss tip for women is simply to exercise consistently. That may seem like common sense, but only 45 percent of adults are actually following their doctor’s advice and getting the recommended minimum: 30 minutes a day, at least four days a week. After only four weeks of inactivity the body begins to shed muscle mass, and aerobic fitness levels start to diminish after missing only two weeks of workouts. That’s why regular, consistent exercise is our first and most important weight loss tip.
2) Don’t focus so much on fast weight loss. Instead, concentrate your efforts on achieving permanent weight loss. While it may be tempting to try the latest fad diet or prescription diet pill, keep in mind that quick weight loss doesn’t always equate to healthy weight loss. As a matter of fact, when you diet without exercising, up to half of the weight you lose could be from muscle mass. Losing muscle is the absolute worst thing you can do when you’re trying to acquire permanent fat loss, so don’t be tempted by the gimmicks promising rapid weight loss. Focus on permanent weight loss through a sensible diet and exercise program, and you’ll be pleased with the long-term results.
3) This weight loss tip is perhaps the best free medical advice you’ll ever receive: Eat your recommended daily allowance of fruits and vegetables before indulging in any treats. This diet tip is so potent because it will help you realize better health in so many different ways. First and foremost, consuming at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day will help us lose weight because fiber moves fat through our digestive system faster so that less of it is absorbed. High fiber foods also make us feel full sooner and stay in our stomach longer, slowing down our rate of digestion and keeping us feeling full longer. Following this health tip will also lower your risk of several cancers and heart disease.
4) As much as possible, eliminate ‘white’ foods from your diet. High sugar and high carbohydrate foods create an insulin spike that tells our body to start storing fat. They also trigger a blood sugar high, which is inevitably followed by a low. This drop in insulin levels leaves us feeling hungry, tired, and wanting to eat more. Specifically, at the bottom of an insulin crash the body craves more sugar and carbohydrates, setting us up for a vicious weight gain cycle. With this in mind, it’s good advice to simply avoid ‘white’ foods whenever possible. Choose brown rice instead of white, whole wheat bread instead of white, and cut back on goodies made with white processed flour.
5) Actively seek out all the expert advice on health, diet and nutrition that you can find. There are many reputable sources of online medical advice available, and much of it is free. Knowledge is power, and the more you know about weight loss, the more likely it is that you’ll be successful in your efforts. Look for free advice and fitness tips from qualified sources like health club owners, physicians, and certified personal trainers. In short, learn all you can.
6) Get at least eight hours of sleep each night. Research has shown that people who sleep only four hours a night have an 18 percent reduction in leptin, a hormone that tells the brain there is no need for more food, and a 28 percent increase in ghrelin, which triggers hunger. This is one weight loss tip that should be easy for anyone to follow.
7) Drink water. Drink LOTS of water. Water suppresses the appetite naturally and helps the body metabolize stored fat. Studies show that a decrease in water will cause fat deposits to increase, while an increase in water can actually reduce fat deposits. Why? The kidneys can’t function properly without enough water. When the kidneys don’t function to capacity, some of the work load is taken on by the liver. The liver’s primary function is to metabolize stored fat into usable energy. If the liver has to do some of the kidney’s work, it can’t function at its optimal capacity. As a result, it metabolizes less fat. More fat remains stored and weight loss / fat loss stops.
Although it’s not a workout tip or an exercise tip, staying motivated is probably the most effective weight loss advice you’ll ever receive. Since each person in different, motivational techniques will vary. However, many have found that charting fat loss progress to be very encouraging. Others maintain that the single most motivating action is to find a friend and commit to exercise together. Whatever method you choose, find a way to stay motivated if you want to write your own weight loss success story.
9) Essential weight loss advice for a woman is to not exercise like a man. That may sound strange at first, but the fact of the matter is that there are several separate and distinct exercise methods available, and not all are proper for women. In fact, some types of exercise could possibly cause women to gain weight (although any weight gain would be from added muscle, not from fat). For maximum fat loss, women should be engaging in not only aerobic exercise but also in light resistance training.
10) Our final weight loss tip is to carefully select vitamins and supplements to help you attain your fat loss goals. There are a million diet pills and weight loss pills on the market, but the vast majority of them may not be appropriate for you and your personal needs. Instead of buying what you see on the infomercials, take the time to research what’s effective and what’s not. Most importantly, speak with your doctor before beginning any supplement program. Medical research has given us many breakthroughs in the last few decades, and vitamins and supplements can certainly be a valuable tool in your weight loss toolbox. Take the time to investigate the options and choose wisely.
Although there’s a mountain of health advice available today, our Top 10 Weight Loss Tips for Women are the best, most accurate and scientifically proven recommendations at hand. Take them to heart, and you’ll be well on your way towards fat loss success.

Top Ten Weird yet Cool Robot Stories in the Past Year
10. Oral Rehabilitition Robot
Everyone knows you don’t take the mask off the Lone ranger and you don’t mess around with Jim. But what happens if you mess around with Jim? You might need to go to an orthodontist for some more teeth, but then you might also have to get an appointment with the Waseda Asahi Oral Rehabilitation Robot. Of course, if your mouth is OK, you may just want to get an appointment with the WAO-1 for your regular facial beauty massage.
9. Are RoboDragonflies Monitoring Political Events?
Could it be that the government is using aerial dragonfly robots to spy on you? Probably not, but could be! Some people think so. Should we be worried? Naw! …or should we?
8. Electronic Nose Update
You smell! No really, most of us do. Robots on the other hand usually can’t smell anything unless they have an electronic nose. Developments now allow conducting polymers to differentiate between several classes of odors. Although probably not as good as a human nose, or an oyster or a dog, it does at least smell and probably detects some odors too.

Top Ten Worst Uses for Windows
After all these years I am willing to admit that Microsoft has won the desktop and server wars. Thanks to VMWare Windows is spreading throughout the datacenter. And, of course, there is only one operating system to use if you are dependent on Microsoft apps like Outlook, Word, and Excel. While I have joined the chorus of security folks who rail against the Microsoft Monoculture I still cannot believe some of the uses for Windows. Some of them are just downright silly, some you may claim are criminally negligent.
So here is the Top Ten List of Worst Uses for Windows:
1. To display a static green arrow over the open TSA security lanes at Detroit Metro.
I kid you not, at the main security checkpoint to get into Detroit Metro there are monitors over each metal detector. The ONLY thing those monitors ever display is a big green arrow pointing down. Oh, occasionally they display a blue screen with a Windows error notice.
Top Ten WTF? US Sex Laws
1. Oral sex is illegal in 18 states, including Arizona.
2. In Virginia, it is illegal to have sex with the lights on.
3. It is illegal for husbands in Willowdale, Oregon, to talk dirty during intercourse.
4. Sexual intercourse between unmarried couples is illegal in Georgia.
5. Engaging in any sexual position other than missionary is illegal in Washington, DC.
6. In Connorsville, Wisconsin, it is illegal for a man to shoot off a gun when his female partner is having an orgasm.
7. In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, it is illegal to have sex with a truck driver inside a toll booth.
8. Having sexual relations with a porcupine is illegal in Florida.
9. It is illegal in Utah to marry your first cousin before the age of 65.
10. Sex with animals is perfectly legal for men in Washington state, as long as the animal weighs less than 40 pounds.
