Top 10 Sexy Asian Woman Actress In India

1 – Bipasha Basu -Britain’s largest selling Asian newspaper hailed actress Bipasha Basu as the Sexiest Asian Women in the World. The newspapers defined the Bollywood diva as “a living embodiment of sexual attractiveness… whose acting ability, beauty and charm are capable of arousing great interest from the world’s media”. Last year, it was Priyanka Chopra who was No. 1 on the list of the Sexiest Asian Women in the World.
2 – Madhuri Dixit -In the runner up position surprisingly is no glam actress of today. Instead actress Madhuri Dixit, whose film Aaja Nachley is all set to hit the screens soon, enjoys the second position in the poll. Looks like her mesmerizing smile and great persona still makes her so ‘wanted’. Quite an achievement at her age, we say.

3 – Priyanka Chopra -At No. 3 is Priyanka Chopra. All of only 25 years of age, Chopra was hailed as the third Sexiest Asian Woman in the World. The actress has made her mark in Bollywood and is only getting better in talent and looks as days go by. And about being touted as a sex symbol, we’re sure Priyanka has no aitraaz, as long as her andaaz is still recognized.

4 – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan -The lovely Aishwarya Rai comes fourth on the list. One wonders if her change in marital status has anything to do with her drop in popularity. But let us tell you, Ash is still ‘drop dead gorgeous’ and a tough competitor is these sexy polls.

Complimented with an attractive face, this tall-legged lass makes it to the No. 6 position on the Sexiest Asian Women’s list.

7 – Katrina Kaif -Actress Katrina Kaif is gorgeous. Having launched a thousand products, this pretty face is making it big in the acting world as well. Having made a successful on-screen pair with Akshay Kumar and a fabulous off-screen pair with Salman Khan, Katrina is many-a-male’s fantasy.

8 – Kareena Kapoor -Actress Kareena Kapoor, after having shed those few extra kilos, made it to No. 8 position on the list. The stunning looker with much attitude and style couldn’t be missed. And after her latest release, Jab We Met, striking the right chord with the audiences, she was bound to make it in the top ten.

9 – Lara Dutta -Miss Oomph, Lara Dutta was Sexy Asian Woman No. 9. The actress has upped her sexy quotient ever since Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, and soon after was lucky to have yet another success story under her belt in the form of the Salman-Govinda starrer Partner. What the Fingertips Top 10 looks like now It’s been such a long time
What the Fingertips Top 10 looks like now
It’s been such a long time since I’ve blogged about the Fingertips Top 10 that the entire chart, but for the number one song, is new (newcomers since the last blog update are marked with an asterisk). Check it out:
1. “Albert” – Ed Laurie
2. “Some Are Lakes” – Land of Talk*
3. “Me and Armini” – Emiliana Torrini*
4. “A Little Tradition” – Novillero*
5. “The Crook of My Good Arm” – Pale Young Gentlemen*
6. “Rosa” – Samuel Markus*
7. “Un Día” – Juana Molina*
8. “Morning Tide” – the Little Ones*
9. “HYPNTZ” – Dan Black*
10. “New Song” – Your 33 Black Angels*
“Rosa” and “New Song” are brand new this week. “Albert,” which entered at #1, has remained there. Juana Molina’s hypnotic “Un Día” is probably one of the more unusual Top 10 songs I’ve listed over the years, lacking anything like an obvious hook, although Dan Black’s unexpectedly poignant cover of a song by the Notorious B.I.G. is also an oddity, perhaps, in the Fingertips universe.
For those relatively new to Fingertips, note that the Top 10 list is my way of putting a little bit of extra attention on ten particularly wonderful songs at any given time. It’s important to remember, however, that Fingertips only features carefully filtered music to begin with, so you can’t go wrong with any of the MP3s featured here.
Songs remain in the Top 10 for a maximum of three months, before they are retired to the Retired Top 10 Songs page, of all places.

Top 10 IKEA Furniture Mods

There’s something about the big-box, flat-pack furniture phenomenon known as IKEA that attracts the DIY type, and it’s not the 99-cent breakfasts. Cheap furniture broken into easy-to-swap parts lets you roll your own solutions to nearly anything lacking around your home, from bicycle space to a cheap desk to cord mess and way, way beyond. With a nod to the IKEA Hacker blog, from which we’ve drawn many great links, we’ve assembled 10 of our favorite ways to do something different with IKEA kits and parts. Ditch the instruction manual and read on for some great weekend projects.
10. Make an Allen wrench drill bit.
Put together a four-leg desk by hand using one of the Allen wrenches IKEA throws in every box, and you’ll have an idea what Repetitive Strain Injury feels like. If you’ve got one left over from a previous project, IKEA or otherwise, consider snipping off the angled parts and sticking the long end into a drill. Now you could chain-assemble a dozen funny-named desks, drawers and other furniture with nary a complaint, at least until the battery wears out.
9. Make your workspace cordless.
IKEA doesn’t have a cordless desk anywhere in their gigantic stores, but they do offer a $10 “Signum” under-desk attachment that makes elegantly cordless workspaces—like those detailed by Adam and Gina—darn simple. Gina mounted hers under her desk next to an extra-wide, spaced-out power strip hung with some twisted wire. Both guides explain their de-cording process in detail.
8. Embed a scraps bowl into your counter top.
Rachael Ray espouses the time-saving and clean-making convenience of the “garbage bowl,” a container you shove all your scraps, rinds, small messes, and anything else destined for the trash or compost heap instead of running over to it. If you agree, or tend to make a lot of salads or mixed dishes, embedding a stainless steel bowl into your counter or a wheeled butcher cart might make a lot of sense. Easy to clean out, always available when needed, and it’s one less dish you have to clean out after a serious meal. It takes a fair deal of tool work, including router work, but it’s perfect for the butcher carts you occasionally see on sale at IKEA, Target, or any other big-box store. Read more…

Top 10 Freelance Web Design Sites
Working as a freelance web designer, developer, graphic artist, or outsourcing service provider can be challenging. Long hours, high competition for jobs, tight deadlines, and low budgets make running your own web design firm difficult. There are a lot of websites that provide a way for clients and designers to come together, but which of these are reliable places to find quality jobs? We did a review of the top 10 freelance job boards on webdevnews.net, and the results may be of interest to those looking for new places to network and find clients.
Our top 10 Freelance Sites for Web Design are:
- odesk.com
- getafreelancer.com
- elance.com
- rentacoder.com
- getacoder.com
- scriptlance.com
- guru.com
- serebra.com
- sologig.com
- Sourceforge Marketplace
These sites are also good when your workload becomes too much and you need to build a team to work together on projects. Outsourcing through the freelance boards builds a lot of new possibilities for independent web designers. If you need a custom theme designed, a new module coded, someone to do your SEO work, or to lay the installation groundwork for a site to finish up later, you can usually find good people on these boards to work together with from around the world.
We chose oDesk as the top freelancer site because of the number of jobs listed, the quality of the development projects, the innovative billing, collaboration, and work monitoring options, as well as its overall quality and professionalism. GetaFreelancer doesn’t even come close at second place, but the volume of projects posted their and the low rates for outsourcing make it a vibrant marketplace. We had issues with the membership fees at elance, but it is really a top quality site for finding good projects.

Top 8 Ways to Treat PMS
Unpleasant as it may be, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a normal and regular part of a woman’s life. A woman may experience minor discomfort and symptoms of PMS before the onset of her menstrual cycle because her body is going through hormonal fluctuations to prepare itself for ovulation.
What can also happen is that she may experience severe pain during menstruation, known as dysmenorrhea, or feels a particularly intense shift in mood or energy level because of severe symptoms of PMS.
If this is you, you might have been prescribed certain forms of medication to reduce the severity of these symptoms, such as birth control pills or antidepressants. The good news, though, is that there are a lot of natural ways to reduce this severity of symptoms. Here are your top 10 ways of coping with PMS:
1. Eat more EFAs. Studies have found that certain essential fatty acids (EFAs) have reduced the symptoms that go hand-in-hand with PMS and dysmenorrhea. Eat more foods high is essential fatty acids such as cold-water fish like salmon, nuts such as almonds and walnuts, and seeds such as sesame and cassia.
2. Foods for your cycle’s start. One week before your cycle begins, eat more spinach, raspberries, and walnuts. Use more chives, scallions, fennel, cinnamon, black pepper, tarragon, bay leaf, orange peel, and saffron in your cooking.
3. Health to a tea. There are a number of teas that you can make for yourself that will help reduce symptoms. Enjoy chamomile tea, valerian tea, red raspberry tea, and hawthorn berry tea. These teas will help you relax and reduce the pain of your symptoms. Also, “Ancient Treasures Tea” is a wonderful blend of herbs for balancing health and emotions. For more information, please click here.
4. Take magnesium supplements. It has been found that some women have reduced levels of magnesium in their blood when they’re experiencing PMS. During the week before the onset of your cycle, take a daily dose of 500 milligrams of magnesium combined with 50 milligrams of vitamin B6 to reduce cramps and pain.
5. Keep a food log. It is very possible that you are experiencing severe menstrual-related symptoms because your body is reacting to a certain food in your diet. To find out what these trigger foods might be, keep a log of everything you eat for the week before the onset of your cycle. Experiment with removing certain foods from your diet and see if the severity of your symptoms is reduced.
6. Try a mind/body exercise routine. Try a moving meditation practice such as tai chi or Qi Gong to help calm and balance your emotions.
7. Avoid salt, alcohol, caffeine, and, yes… chocolate. Given how much you probably crave these four items, it may seem like a grave injustice on your body to abstain from having them! Consuming these things during the premenstrual phase of your cycle, however, may exacerbate symptoms associated with PMS. If you feel you must absolutely have something on this list, consume it in moderation-particularly the chocolate.
8. Breathe. Remember that no matter how difficult these symptoms may be to face each month, they will be over soon. If things get particularly tense for you, take five, long, deep breaths in and out through your nose. This will bring you balance and calmness immediately.
I hope you find success in using these tips for lessening your PMS. As always, I welcome you to share any thoughts or tips of your own that you find to be helpful during this time of the month.

Few Country Women Have Scored a Top 10 Hit in 2008
In this week’s “Country Aircheck,” the Lon Helton and his editors discussed the lack of Top 10 female chart success. They discussed it as a top 10 “Glass Ceiling.” A place where only 4 solo female or all female groups managed to score a Top 10 hit. Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are the obvious ones and in late June, Miranda Lambert joined them with “Gunpowder & Lead” and a couple of weeks ago were joined by Heidi Newfield and her hit “Johnny & June.” There were 5 if you include (and we should) the Jennifer Nettles-voiced Sugarland.
They then went on and discussed with radio programmers about the phenomenon. Most said that they didn’t understand how a format that has more female listeners than male listeners (55% to 45%) would be that way. One looked at research numbers and it was particularly interesting. Regardless of the gender singing the song, if there was positive feedback the results were the same. However, when negative feedback came in about songs, female singers were disliked a whole 10-15% more than male singers.
With only 5 (counting Sugarland) female acts scoring Top 10 hits, the last time there was fewer than that was 2003, when the Dixie Chicks, Terri Clark, Martina McBride and Shania Twain managed the feat. In the the last 10 years the number of females with Top 10 hits were; 13 in 1999, 10 in 2000, 15 in 2001, 10, in 2002, 8 in 2004, 10 in 2005, 6 in 2006 and 2007. So, it’s interesting to see how over the last five years, when radio playlists really got tighter, how the numbers were single digits.
Is the lack of female Top 10 hits because of a lack of trying? No, 27 other females (or female lead vocalized) released singles during the past year and none of them have scored the elusive Top 10. So, What are the answers to this. Is the lack of Top 10 hits due to radio programmers assuming females want more male voices to ‘romanticize’ them? Is it because female singles crash and burn more readily than male-voiced singles? Or is it just the age old lack of truly compelling singles for the average radio listener?
